Immanuel Alpacas, LLC is owned and
operated by Ed and Debbie Carpenter and was established in
2004. We are currently located 26 miles southeast of Denver,
on the beautiful Colorado high plains. |
Our story has a simple beginning:
Being introduced to these lovely, enchanting creatures
inspired us to focus on returning to our shepherding roots,
to quiet the hectic lifestyles of modern technology, to
enjoy life day-by-day and still invest in a stable, future
income. What a dream come true!
Because of that realization that this is a dream come true,
it was our desire to have the greatest Shepherd of all,
Immanuel, be our guide as we build our business, so we put
His name on our ranch as a reminder. Our animals’ health,
both physical and emotional, is given detailed attention
here. Safety is never sacrificed. We take our shepherding
job very seriously.
Both of us have animal husbandry backgrounds, but these
gentle and shy Alpacas require a change in education and a
need for us to humble ourselves to what we don’t know in an
effort to learn for the benefit of our animals. This has
been nothing short of pure joy, both in caring for the
Alpacas and in becoming part of the family of Alpaca owners
and breeders. We hope to encourage and enable other new
breeders in the same unselfish way that has been extended to
us.
As you walk through our website, we are proud to show you
the wonderful bloodlines that come from such farms as
Freedom Ranch Alpacas, Sunny Mesa Alpacas, Pikes Peak
Alpacas and Almost Paradise Farms. Bloodlines such as Shere
Kahn, Hemingway, Felix, Caligula, Augusto and Bueno. We will
always be grateful to them for helping us establish the
foundation for our own extraordinary Alpacas.
Please come and visit our website now, look at our lovely
girls and hopeful future herd sires. We believe you will
understand why our name is Immanuel Alpacas, “God with us”.
We truly are blessed.
Please feel free to email us, or call to schedule a visit.
Alpaca people love to talk about Alpacas and we’re no
different. We’ve found that we have something to learn from
everyone, and something to give back. |
